Hey world.
Just thought i’ll share some photos i took whilst in Perth during the Dec holidays.

Who you calling donkey?

Everything that matters in life in a single frame.
Title: Experience Australia
Medium: Photography
Year: 2008
I edited the photos using an online software[Picnik] later on, tweaking the colour intensity and saturation. That’s why the colours look kinda weird. I know it seems rather overdone but that was my main intention anyway{: I wanted to enhance the natural colours to bring highlight certain features.
Well, these were the only few photos i could find that were not plastered with fats faces and silly grins of me and my cousins. And that seemingly have any trace of artistic viewpoints or value. The first three were taken in Perth. The first one holds special significance to me as it was taken during my cousin’s death memorial. The next six photos were taken in Pemberton, and the last one in Busselton, both small towns down south of Perth [i think]. I must admit these photos are no where near professional but it’s my attempt at capturing what i felt was the essence of Perth. Isn’t it strange how one starts to notice the finer details in life on holiday. From a tiny dew drop poised on the tip of a blade of grass, to the colour of the sky at different times of the day, all of which back home we are too caught up in our hectic lives to pause and take a second glance.
These aren’t perfect photos, but it’s my take on what you’re missing out {; Enjoy
I love the 2nd, 3rd and 4th picture
it’s so amazingly beautiful the blend of colours and what not! The donkey reminds me of the one in shrek haha
Go upload it on Flickr or Deviantart SHARE IT WITH THE WORLD!
:0 Waah.
The donkey is Hilarious XD He’s staring at me sorta indignantly =)
My fav-est would be #2 and 5. 2 has a uber-nice colour contrast, 5 is simply cool (how the bridge leads to the guy in the middle)
I like the train/tram/whatever you call it:) And the forth picture is simply wonderful! I think it is perfect:)
For the first photo, you may want to take a more close-up of the train/tram? After all that is your main subject. But I like the trees that seems to tower above the train too:) And I think you should balance your photo, as in right now as I look at it, it is slightly tilted, especially when you at the ground. From my experience, the photo will really look much nicer if it is symmetrical or balanced.
For the last photo, it looks quite nice, but I was wondering, are you trying to take the sky or the path or the both? If you want to take the path, you may want to try squat lower and take a portait photo, and vice versa if you want to focus on the sky.
OH i love those animals haha
and the colors are really nice!
i especially like the 2nd 3rd very interesting angle
the 2nd one look as if in a fairytale like illustration of a children’s book
the 3rd one…i respect ur courage to go up so closely
and very nice expression of ( him or her) captured (:
Just one suggestion to you…i think the saturation of the first pic is a little bit overdone. so if you could reduce it by a it and make it more natural, it would be more stunning ^^
GOOD PICS TAKEN !
